Is your cleaning service provider protecting you from loss?
Trying to find a reputable cleaning company can be a daunting process. There is so much to consider during the hiring process. Your home is your sanctuary, your possessions, your hard earned money paying for a service to try and gain more freedom to do the things you would rather be doing. There are two classifications of cleaning service providers. There are cleaning companies who pay taxes, who follow the letter of the law, hire properly, and essentially “treat” it as a business. There are also what we like to refer to in this industry as “trunk slammers”. My advice is to be careful and make sure you’re current on your homeowners should you decided to go this route. Any kind of accident can occur which means you could be responsible if your cleaning lady is not insured for injury. Never hesitate to request proof of workman’s comp. liability insurance certificate.
I hope this article helps you in the decision making of your next service provider!
