Misty Clean is a proud partner of Cleaning for a Reason!
Misty Clean partnered with Cleaning for a Reason in 2013. Cleaning for a Reason is a non-profit organization started by Debbie Sardone, owner of Buckets and Bows in Texas, to help women who are undergoing treatment for cancer with the cleaning of their homes. Partners (cleaning companies) are paired up with women in their community when needed and the cleaning company will come to the home and clean for free. It has been a roller coaster of emotions for us and a little bittersweet to say the least. We are so thrilled to have this opportunity to help these women yet at the same time it is a reminder that cancer still affects so many women in our area. Cleaning their homes is the absolute least we can do and for as long as Misty Clean is around we will always remain a partner. I wanted to attach a message from one of our clients through the C4R organization. Here are her words…
“When you get a cancer diagnosis, your whole life is turned upside down. Normally the first thing a person thinks is “why me”. My first thought was “why not me again”. This is my third breast cancer diagnosis. Fortunately for me each site was a primary site-no meta static disease. I am going through a very aggressive chemotherapy protocol. I have just finished my fourth treatment of adriamycin and cytoxam every 2 weeks. In 2 weeks I start a weekly protocol of placitaxel. When that is complete I will be scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor. After that I will be scheduled for more chemotherapy.
